On Wednesday, 11 May, KADME will be participating in the Share-PSI.eu workshop, “Removing the roadblocks to a pan-European market for Public Sector re-use”, at the European Commission in Brussels, Belgium. Share-PSI.eu is a multi-stakeholder initiative toward the Digital Agenda for Europe initiated by World Wide Web Consortium (W3C ) and the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI).
KADME will be presenting a paper on ArcticWeb and PSI data on the panel, “Standards and Technical interoperability”, moderated by Thomas Roessler of the W3C. We will explain the challenges faced in accessing data from key data owners in Norway and the solutions we improvised to meet these challenges. In addition, we will explain the current technical issues encountered by re-users of public data, with straightforward recommendations for improving data publishing practices in the Norwegian public sector.
